Smile Makeover with 6 porcelain veneers

The smile is the first thing people notice about us. Our patient has been dreaming of fixing her smile for years. The front teeth are all shades of different colors. There’s yellowed bonding, along with white spots and other imperfections. Dr. Peter Mann discussed with the patient, placing porcelain veneers on her front six teeth to rejuvenate her smile

Porcelain veneers are the ideal way to transform a smile with discolored and misshaped teeth.  While bonding can only temporarily patch defects in teeth because of its limited porperties.

The entire process was accomplished in just two visits.  During the first visit the teeth were prepared, old bonding was removed, impressions were taken and patient left the office with temporary veneers.   We selected the color of veneers with our patient that would look natural and in harmony with her smile.  Our master ceramist crafted the beautiful porcelain veneers in his dental lab.

Two weeks after the initial appointment, we bonded porcelain six veneers transforming our patient’s smile.  The patient immediately felt more confident with her new smile.

How long do veneers last?

Porcelain veneers last on average of 10-15 years.  Maintenance is a large factors in how long the veneers will last.  Patient’s should spend time carefully flossing their veneers to prevent cavities from forming on the veneered teeth.

It’s recommended for patients who grind their teeth to sleep with a night guard.  A night guard will prevent veneers from taking on too much pressure from teeth grinding, which can cause veneers to fracture.

Does Dental Insurance cover porcelain veneers?

Many dental insurances pay a portion of 50% for porcelain veneers and dental crowns.  Our office accepts most Dental PPO insurance plans.   The insurance experts in our office are available to provide further information, please contact our office for further questions.
